It is our mission to serve individuals, couples, and families in need of counseling with the ultimate goal of helping others to move to personal wholeness, interpersonal competence, mental stability, and spiritual maturity.

MATT SHIVELY

Matt has a passion for walking with hurting people and for leading them towards hope in their darkest hours. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministries with an emphasis in Youth Ministries and a Master’s of Arts in Ministry with an emphasis in Counseling and Family. For twelve years he served as Pastor of our Preteen and Jr. High ministries and has been doing Pastoral lay counseling for the last nine years amongst his other tasks at The Grove. During that time, Matt has counseled people in all sorts of different counseling situations, but near to his heart especially is addiction recovery, anxiety/depression, and marriage counseling.

If you are seeking counseling, complete our online intake form to provide information on why you are in need of counseling. Once this form is completed, a counselor will contact you to schedule an initial session.

Join us from 6-8 PM every Monday for a time of worship, testimonies, and open share groups. Free childcare will be provided. Visit the Celebrate Recovery website for more information about this ministry.

Welcome to GriefShare at The Grove

It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel.

This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before.

Join us for this 13 week support and discussion group for those who have experienced the loss of a loved one.

WIDOW'S SUPPORT BOOK STUDY

PAL (PARENT OF ADDICTED LOVED ONES)

MONDAYS 7-8:30 PM | THE GROVE

PAL is a support group of volunteer parents helping parents using an evidence based, structured curriculum created by professionals in the treatment and recovery industry. Weekly meetings offer addiction education and support at no charge for parents, other family members or friends who are trying to save a loved one from addiction. Family members of addicted loved ones are encouraged to attend if they are over the age of 18. PAL is making a difference in communities around the country. 

You are welcome to contact Grant or just show up at the meeting!
