MARIETTA HARRIS

Marietta sees the counseling process as an opening for grace and healing and is committed to empowering others in their mental and spiritual health. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from Thomas Aquinas College and a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary. During her four years as a high school teacher, she became passionate about helping families and adolescents cultivate peace and functionality in the home, which led her to pursue counseling. While in school, Marietta interned as a counselor for a year at Phoenix Rescue Mission, where she taught Anger Management classes and counseled men and women in their addiction recovery process. She currently holds licensure from the AZBBHE as an LAMFT (Licensed Associate Marriage & Family Therapist) and is in the process to obtain full licensure. Marietta loves working with people in many areas of their mental health, particularly grief, anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, and trauma.

GRIEFSHARE

TUESDAYS 6-8 PM + THURSDAYS 9-11 AM | ON CAMPUS

THURSDAYS 6-8 PM | ONLINE

Welcome to GriefShare at The Grove

It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel.

This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before.

GriefShare groups meet weekly for 13 weeks and are led by people who understand what it’s like to experience the loss of a loved one, whether a family member or friend. It is a video seminar with workbook and group discussions.
