What is "The Grove Experience?"
What is The Grove Experience?
While everyone's experiences are different, based on what the people who regularly come to The Grove have told us, here is what you can expect when you visit us:
1) Simplicity
You'll find gatherings that are meaningful, challenging, and inspiring, yet done in a simple, non-over-the-top way. A typical gathering would last about 70 minutes, made up of different expressions of worship, including but not limited to: prayer, music, reading scripture, reading liturgy, meditating, hearing testimonies, hearing a message from the Bible, giving offerings, and fellowship.
2) Authenticity
The Grove is a place full of real people who feel comfortable enough to be themselves. We are made up of hundreds of people from all shapes, sizes, races, and backgrounds, and we all have our own issues (yes, probably even crazier than yours!). At The Grove you should come as you are, dressed the way you feel most comfortable, and just be free to be you. You won't be alone, we promise.
3) Warmthicity
Warmth-i-ci-ty (noun): the state of being, containing, or issuing warmth. Did we make that up? Well, yes, but if it were a word, it would be great for describing what you can expect at The Grove. You can expect to feel like you belong here and that we want you to be a part of our family, joining us in our mission to "Love God, Grow Together, and Serve the World."
