Background
Palmer has helped to lead The Grove for the past seven years. Before moving to Chandler, he led large college ministries in Wheaton, IL and Southern California. He also lived in Liberia and Malawi, Africa, where he taught Spiritual Formation at African Bible College.

Palmer is also a writer who has authored Waiting for Daylight: God's Hope for Dark Nights, and will soon release two new books, Xpatriate and God Can't Sleep.

Palmer holds a PhD from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and an MA and BA from Biola University, where he met his wife Veronica.

Passion in Ministry
Palmer enjoys teaching the Bible and helping others develop spiritually. He is also deeply passionate about challenging Christ-followers to give their lives away. In Africa, he leads The Grove's efforts to 1) End the In-just Treatment of Women, 2) Eradicate Malaria, and 3) Eliminate Extreme Poverty.
