What We Believe at The Uprising (High School)
We believe the student years are the most influential in a person's life. In our High School Ministry we look to show students what it means to love God, how vital it is to grow together, and that our responsibility as neighbors is to live a life of love by serving the world.
Love God - Students can learn who God is and what it looks like to love Him through the "Jesus 101" lessons that we have at our mid week program. It is a great way for students who don't really understand God, or maybe have never known God personally, to get to know Him on a relational level.
Grow Together - Fellowship and building relationships as students come to church is what we're all about at The Uprising. Sunday Mornings focus on this by having the students interacting together with God's Word and with eachother through lessons that involve big group and small group discussions.
Serve the World - We feel strongly about exposing our students to mission and service opportunites. We bring teams to Mexico on a yearly basis and are currently focusing on how we can aid and serve Malawi, Africa. We also believe that serving the world starts in our communities and expands out from there, which is why we anually partner with Live Love to help rebuild and serve local families and their communities.
