Background
Jared was born and raised in Anaheim, Ca.  It was there that he met his wife Jillian at a rival high school of his.  He was a junior on the varsity football team at his school and she was a senior & the cheer captain at her school.  They went through life’s struggles together while growing stronger in their faith. It was during the period at the end of high school and for a bit after that in which Jared struggled to figure out his life and what it should look like. After overcoming life’s trials soon after moving to Arizona in 2005, he discovered his passion after serving as a volunteer in the Grove’s Uth group, which is to help teens through life’s struggles.  Just about a year after that Jared was called into full time ministry after going on a short-term missions trip to the country of Malawi, Africa.  Since then he has married his high school sweet heart, Jillian, and is currently working on getting his Bachelors degree in Christian Ministries with enfaces in youth.  He hopes to graduate by 2011 and move into full time ministry.

Passion in Ministry
My passion in ministry is to help teenagers get through the struggles of adolescence as they try to figure out who they are as an individual, and as they grow to develop their own personal relationship in Christ.  So often we tend to believe as Christians that we have to be perfect in order to follow Christ, which can cause us to focus on not screwing up, but what I really hope to instill in students is that it’s focusing on Christ and following Him which makes us better people.  Only through Christ can we achieve a righteous perfection.
