WHAT IS IT
Artistree @ The Grove is an Arts Conference aimed at encouraging, equipping, and inspiring artists of all types (paint, draw, sing, play an instrument, write, digital art, act, photography, etc.); as well as building meaningful relationships with other local artists.
WHO IS IT FOR
If you are an artist of any media (includes visual art as well as performing)... We hope you will take this opportunity to allow The Grove to champion your creative gift and join us as an artist participant. No matter what type of artist you are, Artistree is a safe place to show your art and get to know other artists!
WHEN IS IT
Artistree will be held Saturday, January 28th from 10:00am-4:00pm
DOES IT COST?
Well, yes. Nothing worthwhile is free, anyways. But the cost is minimal. Just $10. Lunch will be included with the cost of registration.
WHAT TO EXPECT
When you show up at 9:30am, you'll check in if you've already registered, pay your $10, and drop off art if you brought something you want to share to be hung in a gallery (art will also be included in a 6-week gallery at The Grove if the artist would like). The conference begins at 10:00 and ends at 4:00. During that time you'll get to experience a workshop of your choice designed to cover a range of topics to both encourage and inspire you as an artist. There will also be a Performance Showcase for those who are performance artists to share their work with the group. We'll make art together, eat together, and hopefully build meaningful relationships with other artists.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING
On the day of, you should bring:
-Your $10 registration fee
-If you are a visual/writer type of artist, one of your favorite pieces, ready to hang/display in our gallery
